You all must be aware that I’m a southern girl. This past week, I made a really southern treat: boiled peanuts. Yum, yum–they’re pretty simple! Throw a ham hock, some cajun seasoning, 12-15 cups of water and about two pounds of  green peanuts in a stainless steel large stockpot. Heat on medium-high for four to five hours, you’ll know when they’re ready because you will be snacking on them 🙂

Other things I’ve been up to: wedding, sleeping, watching TV, and I have two tests this week. Sigh.

Also, been trying out italian sausage in pasta types. Stay with me–I’ll let you know how the recipes work out!
